Taiwan Day 2 Pics: Formosa Village & Sun Moon Lake

Day 2 was another exciting day in Taiwan. It started with a trip to the Formosa Aboriginal Village which is a combination of a theme park and cultural village. Having done the amusement rides at Leofoo village previous day we headed straight for the Cultural village. Situated along the slope of the hills, a ropeway took us at the top, where we saw various rural settings, houses and then performances by an aboriginal tribe of Taiwan.

Next we headed to Sun Moon lake, which is another ropeway ride away from Formosa. SML is probably the second most visited tourist destination in Taiwan after Taipei. With such serene settings its easy to understand why. A beautiful lake, lush greenery and breathtaking sunsets and sunrises.

    • hi Joey, We stayed at the Hotel Del Lago, which is right on the lake at SunMoon. Several of the lake-images in the above post are taken from around the hotel.

  1. Looks like a very peaceful place to be. I’m visiting Taiwan next April so this post gives me more insights of some interesting places in the country.

Thanks for reading my post. I'd love to hear what you think about it.
